"What a relief to have such an active and energetic place for our boys to continue to grow in their faith. With the Newman Center so accessible to the students and the variety of times for mass and bible studies – no wonder they are connecting more students with their faith and a personal relationship with Christ.

We have 2 sons at UNL with 3 still at home. It brings me to tears, at times when I visit with my kids or their friends and see the level of their faith life. Although I never strayed from my faith, I can’t help but wonder how much stronger would it have been earlier in my life if I had the same opportunities? My husband is a convert to Catholicism and shared with the rest of my family at Christmas how proud he was of the boys’ growth in their faith.

Please continue to offer a place of fellowship and personal growth for students. The church will surely benefit from your efforts. Whether or not any of our boys are called to the priesthood; I am confident that their experience at the Newman Center will help them be more godly men."
